Growth Mindset: I am enough.

Feeling like you aren’t enough is stressful. It can make you feel like no matter what you do you won’t get it right.

This defeatist mentality comes from a toxic culture where we are shown the highlight reels of people’s lives and kept in the dark about their failures and unsuccessful attempts.

But if you aren’t enough, then what and who is? And will you ever be enough?

Answer: you already are. You. Are. Enough. Hard stop. End of statement.

I understand this might be hurtful to hear. Because while the idea that you aren’t enough comes from a toxic society, you can find comfort in it. It becomes a protective technique that keeps you from trying. And if you don’t try then you can’t fail.

But failure is the pathway to success. And what is comfortable isn’t always healthy.

If you want to be content and happy with life. If you want to find your purpose and enjoy everything that is waiting for you to claim, then you need to let go of the limiting belief that you aren’t enough and acknowledge the fact that you are.

Say it now, “I am enough.” If it feels difficult or weird to say then say it again. Write it on a piece of paper and leave it next to your bed. Say it 10xs in the morning and 10xs at night until it no longer feels uncomfortable. Repeat it until saying “I am enough” feels just like saying “two plus two equals four”.

Because just like two plus two equals four, you are enough. It’s a fact. And you are only limiting your potential when you think otherwise.

Make sure to go to the starting line. Don’t let your mind convince you that you won’t win the race.
